Putin meets Kim, says Russia will help North Korea build satellites
Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un as the two countries expand bilateral cooperation in various fields
Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin have been meeting at the Vostochny cosmodrome in Russia’s far east
Kim tells Putin “we will always support the decisions of President Putin and… we will be together in the fight against imperialism”
Putin says Russia will help North Korea build satellites – after the North failed twice this year to launch them
It’s feared the two may also finalise an arms deal to help Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
Asked on such a military deal, Putin only said the two leaders would discuss “all issues”
Just before the meeting, North Korea launched two missiles – believed to be the first without Kim in the country
