Increase the number of flights between Iran and Qatar during the World Cup from November 21 to December

Iran and Qatar have signed three major deals on civil aviation as the two countries expand their cooperation in the run-up to the World Cup 2022 in Qatar

A spokesman of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization said on Monday that the deals had been signed earlier in the day between senior government officials from Iran and Qatar as they met in the resort Iranian island of Kish in the Persian Gulf

Mir Akbar Razavi said the deals included agreements to increase the number of flights between Iran and Qatar during the World Cup from November 21 to December 18

The two other deals will cover issues on aviation control and search and rescue services, said Razavi

Iran has vowed it will provide full logistics support to Qatar during the World Cup including by providing accommodation and aviation services to help the Arab country better organize the tournament
