There is strong will in Iran to increase oil exports despite the unjust and illegal US sanctions

Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji said on Tusesday , We are pursuing an increase in refinery production capacity, and we are waiting for a license to increase the refinery capacity by 300,000 barrels, he added

Contracts are ready to be signed in the field of oil and gas maintenance, Owji said in a meeting with the members of the Parliament Energy Committee, adding that these activities show that we have not waited for nuclear negotiations, Shana reported

“With the efforts by the National Iranian Gas Company, our winter fuel reserves are in a better condition than last [Iranian] year, and with the measures taken, we hope to get through the winter well,” the minister noted

Owji also referred to the issue of energy diplomacy and said, “Great efforts have been done in this area, negotiations have been held with Turkmenistan, and good deals have been made in terms of oil sales”

In September, Owji said his ministry was determined to increase the country’s oil exports despite the US sanctions, adding that the use of oil sanctions as a “political tool” would harm the market

“There is strong will in Iran to increase oil exports despite the unjust and illegal US sanctions; I promise that good things will happen regarding Iran’s oil sales in the coming months,” Owji noted
